Generally good...but....

In one of the latest updates, there is a new option under Settings "Change Reader Settings" which allows setting "Auto-hide Reader Navigation Bar" but when setting this it is fine for this session however after closing the app (iPad or iPhone) it unsets itself and requires setting again when the app is opened.

I have gone to News Ltd Customer Support (supposedly technical support) and they gave me the standard response (clear cache and data, make sure using latest iOS, delete and reinstall app blah blah blah). Of course none of this made any iota of difference.

Now as app developers you may find this interesting , they actually said that I should be using web browser not the app. I tried to get them to understand that apps are used for a reason and this was just a small tweak of coding.

Please fix this app

This telegraph app is a waste of money since they tried to revamp it. What a joke. They have removed a lot of menus in the news, sport, entertainment etc and only give you limited reading now. You should have just left it the way it was before you made it worse, as it was at least bearable then. Some of the stories also have computer programming language in it and you can't even read the story due to this. Also the same stories stay on the app for ages, can't you update daily. Is this not what you do on your printed version by having new stories daily otherwise it would not sell. Fix it please and I will be the first to sign up again for a subscription. Signed up 3 times now hoping it would be fixed but no just wasted my money, but suppose thats all you need isn't it, get the money and not fix things
Not happy. Nowra. Nsw

Mr frustrated

Had this app since it started and have kept renewing in the hope it would improve. It is no replacement for the paper but would be ideal for the main stories however the pop up advertising predominantly the same Harvey Norman advert over and over and over and over again are annoying. Put simply I am happy to pay for online news but not annoying pop ups that are every 3 pages and totally repetitive. Why not just stick to the adverts on the top , side or bottom of page as a normal paper would have. I may actually read one. I it also contains repetitive advert to their fantasy coaching thing which is of no interest whatsoever but I have to bypass it at lease 3 times a day as well. To top it off when you try to close some adverts the open further. Hopeless.
