Schwarzenegger stars as Sheriff Ray Owens - the only person standing in the way of a drug cartel leader who busts out of a courthouse and speeds to the Mexican border.

The film is Schwarzenegger's first lead role since 2003's Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

Packed with action, this comical thriller also stars funny-man Johnny Knoxville. The Last Stand opens at Event Cinemas Campbelltown from Thursday.
